The Booze Guys Story
How and why we started
Rob Hill, known as The Booze Guy, has been working in the alcohol and beverage industry since 2022.
He opened a boutique bottle store in Durban North, selling selected wines, craft beers, spirits and Kenmere charcoal, and became well known for hosting regular wine tastings.
In 2024, Rob moved to Cape Town, where he shifted his business into distribution. He now supplies restaurants and bottle stores with boutique wines, Elgin Vintage Cider, That Brewing Company and Lions River Brewery, and imports and distributes Kenmere charcoal from Durban, storing stock in his Cape Town warehouse.
Rob continues to host wine, craft beer and cider tastings at local restaurants.
